Role: Brand Partner & Copywriter
Facebook wanted to be positioned as a key driver for social and entrepreneurial growth here in Asia. To that end, they planned to partner with government bodies around Asia to set up programmes that offer training and development opportunities for entrepreneurs, startups and tech innovators.
I was tasked to plan and write copy for all of the programme websites to generate interest for these initiatives.
But having a mix of 3 distinct audience groups was tricky. We had to address the concerns and interests of:
1. Governmental Bodies
2. NGOs
3. Start Ups
2. NGOs
3. Start Ups
All across different countries in the region, from Korea to Pakistan to Singapore and Indonesia.
The audience groups were similar in nature, but also culturally and geographically diverse. So it was imperative to plan for effective communication of all the important messages. Saying all the right things in the right ways was essential to the success of the project.
As many of these were communal co-working spaces, I had to keep the tone of the copy warm and inviting as well.
Innovation Lab Korea & Namsan Lab Korea
Each programme was extremely well-received, with Facebook continuing to set up more innovation labs and related programmes around the region, with me handling writing duties for each initiative.

We ended this chain of projects with an initiative to educate users on the importance of Digital Citizenship and its relevance today.
