The organisers of Odyssey didn't just want it to be a run of the mill rave party. They asked us to help them create an experiential journey of legend, lore and music for event goers, and we jumped at the opportunity.
They wanted something about time-travel, so we created a story about visitors from the future called the Qrononauts, whose main mission was to seed the past with great music from the future, thereby creating some kind of feedback loop that progressively evolves the music over time to become better and better. 
(Word to the wise, don't overthink it.)
Being a full brand experience, we had to concept, design and build everything from scratch. The logo was inspired by the Tesseract, or hypercube, a 3D projection of a 4D construct. 
We also came up with the design of the Qrononauts and the idea of the time portal which we realised as 3D renders. 
We also came up with a visual language to add texture and syntax to the brand lexicon.
And in theme with the brand story, tessellations were used to create iconography for brand collaterals. 
In the run up to the event, we dropped teasers on social media and ran pre-event mini parties.
And when the day came for the event to finally happen, it was a huge success. Just seeing our visual concepts turning into reality was a huge trip in itself. They even built an approximation of the time portal to serve as the stage.
